Kids and Parents Love Awana
Awana Club meetings are briming with life-enriching experiences for young people! Trained leaders guide children through age appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives. In a world desperate for high standards of morality and ethics, Awana uses the Bible to teach children to honor God and their fellow human beings. The goal of Awana Clubs is to reach boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve Him. Since 1950, churches have been using Awana to reach out to the youth in their communities. The Awana Clubs program is distinctively Christian and Bible-centered. Of course, Awana Clubs do not exclude kids based on their religious affiliation. The club meetings are open to all. The word Awana stands for Puggles
“Puggle” is a common term for a baby platypus. In children's ministry circles, Awana Puggles is an enriching program for your pre-Cubbies kids (usually older 2- and younger 3-year-olds) that presents basic biblical concepts: We are a unique creation of God. Then parents—an Awana Puggle’s first and best teacher—can step in to reinforce the lessons with take-home cards that include ideas to point out God’s work each day. And little details like Awana Puggles T-shirts, puzzles and coloring books make every precious child feel like part of the group. Ideal for your Awana club time, nursery, Sunday school or ladies Bible study childcare, Awana Puggles is a club that plants seeds of faith and teaches toddlers God’s Word! Cubbies
Cubbies is the Awana Club for preschoolers during the two years prior to regular kindergarten, usually three- and four-year-olds.
Sparks
Sparks is the Awana Club for kindergartners, first-graders, and second-graders. Each club meeting has three parts. In Game Time, Sparkies enjoy entertaining games played on the Awana Game Circle. During Green Meadow Time, Sparkies gather for their age-appropriate Bible lesson. During Sparkle Time, clubbers recite Bible verses from memory, complete handbook sections, and earn awards. Sparky, the friendly firefly, appears throughout the Bible-based materials to encourage clubbers to complete their handbook achievements. Truth & Training
Truth & Training is the Awana Club for third-thru sixth-grade girls. As girls mature
and head toward their teenage years, they use handbooks and other materials
especially geared for their older age group. The club meeting
features fun and competitive games and a message that focuses on the
Trek
Trek is for middle-school students
Trek answers the questions our kids are asking — literally! We asked hundreds of middle-school students, “What’s your biggest question about God and the Bible?” Trek takes these real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way.
